Indy Speedway
Most people see the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on TV and on race day, with the stands filled, pit stops teeming with activity, and 33 cars racing around the track.
I had the opportunity to visit when there was nothing going on. It is a very different feel, yet the size and scale of this historic and fascinating site still remains awe-inspiring. Standing on the track, you can easily hear the sound of revving engines in your mind.
