2020 NYS Pandemic Roadtrip

Having taken no time off from work since December besides a few long weekends, and with vacation days that I needed to use or lose, I decided to take a road trip in October 2020. Original plans had me traveling to a few different states, but increasing infection rates caused all those states to be added to New York's mandatory quarantine list, thus limiting my travel to within my home state. Luckily, New York is humongous with lots to see and do.

Boat House on Mirror Lake

I was about a quarter-mile across from this boat house on Mirror Lake in the town of Lake Placid, and it caught my eye because there was nothing else along that shore for about a mile. It sat there minding its own business amongst the tall trees lining the shore.
